About Big Red Stripe
Big Red Stripe is simply my company banner. Everything I do screenwriting related--writing, teaching, speaking--is housed here.
And ultimately, I want to help other writers improve in their craft and to celebrate writing along the way. Since earning an MFA in Screenwriting from USC's School of Cinematic Arts in 2009, Jacob has worked in Hollywood as a screenwriter and video editor. He also spent several years teaching writing, screenwriting, storytelling, editing, and filmmaking at Pepperdine University. He has helped shaped hundreds of stories, and his students have screened at and placed in film festivals in the US and internationally. Jacob's passions include his family, playing golf and soccer, telling stories, celebrating storytelling, and helping others tell the best stories they possibly can.
